Tips for Your First 50 Days of CrossFit

  • Develope healthy eating habits. Buy organic, live , real foods. Do not buy any packaged, processed, or fast foods. I can not stress this enough.
  • Your body is going to change rapidly. Be prepared to change and be ready to take a compliment.
  • Show up on time and get in a sufficient warm-up and stretch.
  • If you have to cheat, maintain the 20/20 rule with bad meals and try to have no more than 2 or 3 a week.
  • Set realistic goals that your body can meet. Once you achieve them, set higher ones.
  • Start slow! Although you may see fast results, CrossFit is not a quick fix for an unhealthy lifestyle. Maintain your new lifestyle change.
  • CrossFit is a Marathon, not a sprint. (Although you will be sprinting.. a lot)
  • Get motivation and inspiration from your peers and training partners. We are a team. CrossFit is a community.
  • After 50 days, look back and reflect on what you have accomplished and help other who are just starting out learn the ropes.

  • Avoid fatty, greasy foods
  • Avoid sugar and soft drinks at all cost.
  • Eat fruits and vegetables for your fiber and sugar sources.
  • Only eat when you are hungry.
